Cake Consultations and Taster Boxes
I believe that for a cake to be truly beautiful it has to taste as good as it looks. This is why my cakes are made with the finest ingredients that I can find. I try to use as many locally-sourced or UK products as possible, but where I cannot, I endeavour to use only ethically-sourced or fair trade products.
The average height of each tier of your cake is five inches, consisting of four layers of soft sponge with three generous and delicious layers of filling. Each tier is then covered in a layer of smooth white chocolate ganache and finally wrapped in a thin layer of luxury fondant. Each tier of your cake can be a separate flavour, so there will be plenty of choice for you and your guests.
I would love you to try my cakes, which is why I offer cake consultations here in my studio four times a year. This is where you get to sample my signature flavours, have a celebratory bottle of prosecco and I get to find out all about your wedding plans and your cake dreams. From there I will start my hand-drawn designs for your bespoke wedding cake.
Alternatively, if you cannot make an in person consultation, I can post you a tasting box. These are sent via Royal Mail on a Next Day Delivery and will require a signature. I will then arrange a video consultation at your convenience to discuss your cake. The cost for the consultation appointments and taster boxes are £35. Bespoke taster boxes and consultations are charged at a higher price, depending on the flavours chosen.
Taster boxes also make a great gift for a loved one, or to send to other family members so they can also be part of the tasting experience.
Allergen Information
Please be aware that all my cakes, curds, some jams and caramels are made in an environment where nuts, gluten, eggs and dairy are present. Although the utmost due diligence is undertaken, I cannot guarantee that the finished product will be 100% trace free. I can offer free-from cakes for clients with intolerances. For guests with allergies rather than intolerances or coeliac disease, I would advise they do not eat my cakes. I will ask for you to sign a disclaimer for free-from cakes as my studio is not certified as an allergen-free workspace.
