Couture Wedding Cake Pricing
The cake that I will create for you will not only reflect the dreams you have for your wedding day, but will represent why you are a perfect couple. I would love to create a bespoke, one-of-a-kind piece of edible art for your celebration. You are unique and so should your wedding day be.
There are a few factors to take into account when considering your perfect wedding cake:
Size required (serving size, number of tiers, faux tiers to give elevation)
Will your cake be served in the evening or as part of the wedding breakfast dessert?
What decoration will be on the cake? Sugar or real flowers? (Please be aware that I will not add any cut flowers that are not DEFRA approved, real flowers are homegrown or from reputable florists)
Shape of each tier (round, square, hexagonal)
Would you like to keep the top tier for your first wedding anniversary?
These are all things that we can discuss during the cake consultation.
Wedding Cake Price Guide
Below is a basic outline of what you could expect to pay for a bespoke wedding cake. These prices have been based on a round tier design which is covered in sumptuous white chocolate ganache with a thin fondant finish. Please note I do not make naked or semi-naked cakes. Cake designs with a lot of decoration e.g. sugar flowers, ruffles, stencilling and piping work will be charged at higher prices. Prices exclude delivery.
Please note that I have a minimum spend of £550 for my wedding cakes.

A few things to think about when planning your wedding cake
Number of guests to cater for: It would be my recommendation to have a cake that would serve around 80-85% of your guests. Not everyone will want a slice.
Portion size: For a cake that will be served in the evening a finger slice of 1” x 1” x height of the tier (normally between 5-6”) will be perfect. For a wedding cake that is to be served as the dessert at your wedding breakfast, the portion size should be 1” x 2” x height of the tier.
How can you make your cake taller: If you are having an intimate wedding but would like to have more of a grand centrepiece for your cake there are a couple of ways to achieve this. Faux tiers can be added into the design to give elevation. These are costed out at a slight reduction, but please be aware that the decorating e.g. the sugar flowers, stencilling and icing is the majority of what makes up the overall cost of your cake. The other option is to go for taller tiers, 6-7” or have spacers in your cake to give the illusion of height.
Delivery and Set-up charges: A fee of £1.00 per mile is charged for me to get to your venue from SY18 6JU. This is a one-way charge. I do not charge a set-up fee. This information will be included in your quotation.
